If you enable Meditate Premium with Apple Health integration, we can access and store:

Heart rate data from supported devices during meditation sessions

Device Information

We collect certain device information to provide and improve our Service:

Device type and model (iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, Vision Pro)

Unique device identifiers (via Apple's privacy-preserving methods)

To personalize your Mandala and meditation experience, we collect:

Customized Mandala selections and preferences

To Provide Services: Deliver, maintain, and improve Meditate and its features
To Track Progress: Record your meditation sessions, streaks, and personal Mandala growth
To Generate Insights: Analyze your meditation patterns and provide Meditation Insights
To Power Ask Meditate: Enable you to ask questions about your meditation history using natural language
To Support Health Integration: Connect with Apple Health if you enable this feature
To Personalize Experience: Customize your interface and recommendations based on your preferences
To Improve Quality: Fix bugs, improve performance, and add new features
To Comply with Law: Meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests

3. How We Store Your Data

Your meditation data is stored securely using encryption. We use the following storage methods:

iCloud Storage: With your permission, your meditation data syncs across your Apple devices via iCloud
On-Device Storage: Your data is stored locally on your device for offline access
Ask Meditate Processing: When you use Ask Meditate, your question and relevant session data are processed to generate answers

You control what data is stored and can delete your meditation history at any time through the app settings.

4. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

5. Your Privacy Controls

Meditate respects your privacy and gives you control over your data:

Apple Health: You can enable or disable Apple Health access at any time in your device settings
iCloud Sync: You can turn off iCloud sync in Meditate settings
Data Export: You can export your meditation data as a CSV file
Data Deletion: You can delete individual sessions or your entire meditation history
Ask Meditate: Reflections and journal entries are optional and only used if you choose to enable Ask Meditate

6. Third-Party Services

Meditate may integrate with third-party services to enhance your experience:

Apple Music: If you enable Apple Music in Meditate, your Apple Music account information is used only to provide ambient music during meditation
Apple Health: Only with your explicit permission
Apple Intelligence: Used only to power Ask Meditate on supported devices with your authorization

We do not share your meditation data with third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent.

7. Children's Privacy

Meditate is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information and terminate the child's account.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Your continued use of Meditate after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. We will notify you of any material changes via the app or email.
